A licensed real estate agent since 1994, Jay joined Kentucky Select Properties in 2005 after successful roles in marketing, brand management and communications for both large and small organizations. As a Kentucky Select sales associate Jay has advised clients on the sale and purchase of residential properties throughout Metro Louisville with special emphasis on the Highlands, Cherokee Triangle, Crescent Hill, Clifton, St. Matthews and Indian Hills. He closed more than $62 million in transactions from 2006-2015. As Managing Broker Jay is responsible for the Kentucky Select brand and overseeing marketing, sales, agent development and operations for the company and its 90+ real estate agents. Kentucky Select Properties is the top selling, 100% locally-owned and independent real estate company in the Louisville market and sold more than $268 million worth of homes in 2015. Prior to joining Kentucky Select Jay served in marketing and as the speechwriter for the Founder and CEO of Papa John’s International, as a copywriter and producer for an Inc. 500 ad agency, as VP of marketing for a technology services firm and as the founding director of the CNET Networks’ business information website BNET.com. As a native Louisvillian Jay treasures the city's architectural character and distinctive neighborhoods. He enjoys the responsibility of helping people navigate the home selling and buying process and prides himself on his attentive and personal service. Jay lives with his wife and two sons in Crescent Hill. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona and received his Master's in Business Administration from Bellarmine University in Louisville.
